Steve Roberts - Director
Steve discovered the world of acting at 28. Within the first few years he appeared twice at the Edinburgh Fringe festival (Godspell and Return to the Forbidden Planet) and toured with the ‘Travelling Light’ company in America (A Phoenix Too Frequent.) Since then Steve has taken on many different roles ranging from a first world war miner/soldier (The Hired Man) to a new-age father to be (Large as Life.)
TV works include Dr Who, Torchwood, Casualty, Gavin & Stacey, Skins and Being Human to name but a few. Steve has also appeared in films such as Amazing Grace, The Duchess, Clash of the Titans II and Steven Spielberg’s new film The War Horse. He has also experienced various degrees of success on Catchphrase, Wipeout, Wheel of Fortune, The Weakest Link and Golden Balls.
Steve has embarked on two previous productions with ‘Stage Experience’ as a cast member (The Witches of Eastwick and High School Musical,) and is delighted to be asked back and undertake the role of director.
